We decided earlier on to recite the swearing in Chinese (there is a English version). The only problem is that I do not know how to read Chinese characters. So, I memorized the whole paragraphs for a few days with YF's help. Guess what, my memory fails me on that day after reciting the first paragraph and it turned out to be quite a funny experience, pronoucing the phrases wrongly. Anyway, I guess it worked out after all. We finally signed the papers - did I mentioned I have to call YF's dad as Daddy on the spot before he signed? Sounded easy, but not for me. I'm used to calling her dad uncle. We exchanged rings and I presented flowers to my girl (a 9 liles + 9 pink roses bouquet) - only to follow with some unexpected kisses from all the couples that present - this is the first time I saw my dad kisses my mom. So is YF's parents too :)
All in all, it was really wonderful to have everyone's presence on that day. We are blessed! Thank you! ^_^
Here are some photos taken, a picture speaks a thousand words :)
